Hey there! Welcome to Truth in Tap, a blog where I take a deep dive into mobile games and figure out if they are really worth playing.
Like a lot of people, I’ve spent way too much time watching game ads while playing other mobile games. Some of these ads look amazing— wild puzzles, impossible challenges, choices that seem to change everything. But then I download the game, and it’s nothing like what I expected.
That’s where this blog comes in.
What Truth in Tap is all about
I started Truth in Tap not just to compare game ads vs. reality but to give real reviews on whether these games are actually fun. Sure, some mobile games are completely misleading, but that doesn’t mean they are all bad. Sometimes, a game that fakes its ad turns out to be a hidden gem. Other times… well, let’s just say they deserve a one-star rating.
Each post will follow a simple format:
Instead of just calling out false advertising, I’ll be breaking down the actual game play and sharing:
✅ Side-by-side comparisons of game ads vs. real gameplay.
✅ Honest reviews—Is it fun? Does it get repetitive? Worth your time?
✅ Screenshots & breakdowns so you can decide for yourself before downloading.
What to Expect
Each post will follow a simple format:
1️⃣ The Ad: What the game promises.
2️⃣ The Reality: What you actually get.
3️⃣ The Verdict: Is it worth your time, or should you skip it?
Some games might surprise us. Others will crash and burn. Either way, I’ll be testing them so you don’t have to.
Let’s Get Started!
If you’ve ever downloaded a mobile game thinking, “This is NOT what I signed up for,” you’re in the right place. Stay tuned for my first Truth in Tap review—let’s find out which games are hidden gems and which ones are just clickbait.
